(Workshop) LIFE TTGG – Energy and environmental efficiency in PDO PGI supply chains
On May 5, 2022, at 10.30 a.m., at the Spazio 2 Hall – Pavilion 2 of the international trade fair Cibus, will be held the workshop “Energy and environmental efficiency in PDO PGI supply chains – Life TTGG Project: the final results and the software for Grana Padano PDO” organized by Fondazione Qualivita and Consortium for the Protection of Grana Padano in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Piacenza, oriGIn, Enersem and CNIEL.
The initiative – aimed at Italian PDO PGI protection consortia and companies and stakeholders in the national quality food sector – will show for the first time the important result of the project: an environmental decision support software that will allow PDO cheese companies to apply the PEF methodology to calculate the environmental footprint of their packaged products and at the same time optimise the production system from both an environmental and an economic point of view.
